Love the Newspaper but just renewed my subscription and I still cannot get logged in.
I also have the problem where I can sign in using a web browser, but Android only crashes. I submitted a crash report through the app and quickly received a response that informed me that I needed at least android 8.0 (I have 9.0), and app version 4.4.2 (which is the iOS version) while the Google Play store has 2.2 7. I sent back a reply informing them of this, and haven't heard anything back yet (5 days now). Android support seems to be lacking when they refer you to "that other system".
Lost password and can't get a reset. What a rip off.
The App works fine and the Stars and Stripes news I trust
Love the paper, but I've deleted and reinstalled the app. No updated articles, can't sign in. Even when I could sign in, every time I closed out the app, it would sign me out. This is very upsetting for a $40 a year investment.
Since installation, everyday have some news.
The news articles never get updated. The print version of the newspaper is not readable without zooming in, but then you can't scroll around.
It has been 3 months and the page will not show new content. There is no update on Google play. Basically paying for stars and stripes that doesn't work anymore. It worked fine for a year now nothing.
Stuck does not update.
Fails to deliver. I purchased this app sever years ago, when their website changed to subscription based. Originally billed as pay once, gree access thereafter. Over the last few years content has steadily become more restrictive, but the main headlines have always. Send readable. Now, on the app I purchased, I cannot access any content. Good job, Stripes. Instead of subsidizing your government funding with data from me as a reader, I will go elsewhere for my news.
